The Company

BioMimics, LLC founded in 2018, focuses on developing environmentally sustainable products and technology, offering multifunctional solutions that benefit our customers and society.

We provide best-in-class proprietary polymeric surfactants built using natural and safe ingredients that, after enabling product formulation and advantageously offering functionality to the end-user, are safely decomposed in the environment at the end of their life cycle.

Our product development philosophy is “skin-in,” which involves expanding our product offerings for inside-the-body applications as we gain safety and efficacy data for on-the-body solutions. Our focus is on-the-skin molecular delivery systems and adjuvants for skincare, personal care, agriculture, pharmaceutical, and biopharmaceutical applications.

Our business development recognizes that every customer is different and wants to be heard and enabled to get a great solution to their “What if” questions. We strongly believe in shared value, and that collaboration should be enjoyable and rewarding.

The Founder: Ananth V Iyer

Materials and innovation build and sustain society. I founded BioMimics, LLC, recognizing the societal need for more diverse and functional biobased products. As a business community, we are trying to source more raw materials from renewable feedstock to maintain the sustainable status quo of legacy products.

However, there is not enough diversity of novel materials utilizing natural ingredients that can be safely composted after our use if not recycled. BioMimics innovation focus and pipeline are towards cost-effective materials that add value beyond what is extricable from the present state-of-the-art.

As the CEO, my role is to garner increased recognition and brand value for BioMimics. For this purpose, I envisage meaningful collaboration with like-minded businesses and customers on the lookout for their next “What if.”
